Smrrkdrrn 8/14/2020 - Fiendin' For A Hit
Smackdown sure has been hit and miss, well, maybe more of the latter than the former. However, tonight's show does have at least one intriguing bout scheduled with championship match consequences. We can get to that later. Let's delve into the standard fare first.
The Monster Among Men ain't simpin' for shit. He simply wants to meet his maker, and shall address our friendly neighborhood Fiend tonight to further set the mood for the WWE Championship match at Summerslam. The inner monstrosity teased, what will Strowman express, and more importantly, will it be the stuff stuff of nightmares? Or will this feud turn into swamp ass? Find out tonight!
Oh, and of course, let us not forget about Sister Alexagail. Surely she must be in mentally dire straits after the Fiendish assault and the abandonment of her championshiply frustrated best friend she has something or another to say about it. Is everything biscuits and gravy between her and Nikki Cross? Is she living in fear? Find out in tonight's sit down interview with The Goddess.
Moving on to Big E's newly found single's run, tonight he take's on John Morrison to attempt to complete a pair of victories over one of Smackdown's more historic tag teams' individual members. With Kofi and Xavier injured, the sky is the limit for the gyrating gentleman!
And finally, and perhaps most interestingly, we have ourselves a tri-brand battle royale set to crown the #1 Contender for Bayley's Smackdown Women's Championship as announced by Stephanie McMahon last week via Tron. Who from what brand will rise to the occasion? It's anybody's ballgame, but something tells me this will be the hit we're looking for tonight! Tune in, tune out, then tune back in. I know, the show has been rough, but with Summerslam around the corner, perhaps WWE will kick things into high gear for the starving masses. I mean sure, plenty of junk to eat, but it's a Big 4 PPV coming up. Give us some red blue meat, pal! The shit we've been fed hasn't been such goodness lately!
With that said, let's get ready to Smrrrrrkdrrrrrrnn! (Oh, and UFC 252 on Saturday night, followed by a lil New Japan if you're into that sorta stuff.)
