Smackdown - 9/25/2020 - The Pre-Clash
It's the go-home show for Clash of Champions: Gold Rush, and it's going back through the years as Paul Heyman is scheduled to give an oral history of Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, and the Anoa'i Family. We can rest assured that this will be the Smackdown feel-good moment of the year, and you can Belee Dat!
After Alexa Bliss' fiendish assault on Lacey Evans after the former's best friend, Nikki Cross, scored the win over theSasy Southern Belle, the good lady isn't having any of it. It's Bliss vs Evans in singles competition.
Before their Triple Threat Intercontinental Championship match, which will include AJ Styles, it'll be the current recognized champion, Jeff Hardy, vs the man who never lost the title, Sami Zayn, in a non-title match. No word yet on if AJ Styles will be ringside, but one must imagine while he should just sit back and let his opponents wear each other down, he'll make hispresence known in some way.
Finally, Otis will address his recent serving. He'll also be addressing Miz and Morrison's lawsuit against him. Legal precedent hasn't been established regarding the forfeiture of the Money In The Bank contract, but it has been teased that Otis may be surrendering it to the plaintiffs. Will he establish precedent in the WWE quasi-legal universe, or will he tell his accusers to eat it?
Find out what's going down as we head into Clash of Champions tonight on Smackdown!
(And be on the lookout for the PPV prediction game forms from Wu sometime after the show!)
