Smackdown - 10/16/2020 - sEaSoN pReMiEre

 Ah, it's that time of the year where we all ask ourselves, "Da Hell you mean 'Season Premiere?'" With the draft occurring once again, at least this time around it makes a little more sense (even though the Draft picks don't become exclusive until Monday, but hush, you!) What's on the docket for tonight's show? Let's see!

In what should likely main event the show tonight, we have a WWE Title Match between The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns vs the soon to be Monster of the Red Brand Braun Strowman. This will be the first time these two face each other since Reigns pinned Strowman in the triple threat title match at Payback to win the championship, so expect a hellacious bout between the two titans.

Some said it would never happen, but finally, by no will of their own, The New Day will be split up with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods being drafted to Raw. However they will have one last get together with Big E in three on three tag action against Sheamus, Cesaro, and Shinsuke Nakamura! Batter up! (Yeah, that was a pancake joke. Feels those goosebumps. Yeah, I did that.)

The Freak has made his way back to the WWE, and he has left a trail of wreckage in his wake. Before he makes his way to the Red Brand permanently, Jeff Hardy aims to settle the score after being involved in one of Sullivan's Freak Accidents. Can the Enigma topple the Freak in his last showing on the Blue Brand, pour you a nice muggg of A&W and find out!

The old Raw/new Smackdown Tag Team Champions The Street Profits are coming for the smoke with haste since the Draft. They will be putting the titles on the line right off the bat against the recently reunited duo of Dolph Ziggler and Bobby Roode. Smoke rises to the top, but who's bringing more tonight? 

Finally, The Yes Man has come back to The Blue Brand! It has been some time since we saw Daniel Bryan on our screens, hasn't it. What will he have to say upon returning to the ring?
