Wrestlemania Backlash (2022) Results

Backlash was what it promised. Nothing more, nothing less. Six mostly regular old matches at a regular pace. Things must get spicier in this post-Wrestlemania scene, and next month's Hell In A Cell Premium Live Event may very well be able to spice up the pepper. Only one championship switched hands at the show, and while it wasn't without good spots, most here at Outside Interference have deemed it forgettable. What won't be forgettable is this month's OI title chase results and how the game changes with recent shakeups in the dredges of our prestige. You'll understand shortly. Let us begin crowing our new Outside Interference Prediction Game Champions.

First things first, as we so often do, at the bottom of the tag ladder, we have the Ho Bag Championship, notoriously defended by the Disqusting duo of Borg and Thrawn for for as long as many may remember. However, our friend and fellow competitor, Thrawn, has decided to leave his Ho Bags in the ring. He remains a valued member of the community and his prior accolades will be remembered forages to come. Borg, on the other hand, is out for more and found himself defending his title alone alongside a random alternate. Who reigned superiorly terrible without Thrawn, the Terrible, to hold it down? And new Outside Interference Ho Bag Tag Team Champion, as well as still your reigning champion,

Rick and Borg

Fantastically dramatic action going on down on the ground, but what about the top of the tag team mountain? Defending Outside Interference Tag Team Champion SWR made it to the battle to defend his half of the tag team gold, but we afraid his partner and defending champion, Gen, did not end up making a submission this go around. Surely Gen will be back to action soon, but how did SWR and his randomized partner fare against the other eight teams? Oh no, baby. Familiar foes appeared once again, and new Outside Interference Tag Team Champions,

Cuz and Nice Guy

Down the chute and over to the lower level of the solo ladder, a new combatant had already taken what Borg or Thrawn would alternatingly call their own in the Outside Interference POS Championship. Dr Dong outta nowhere threw his hat into the POS game. Now the field is possibly more competitive than it has ever been. How did our champion do? Well, unfortunately the POS Champion did not make it to the dance this go around. No matter, as four men slugged it out in the sewer in the four way for the big nugget itself. GG, DBL, Matty, and Malk each scored five points, but only one could be furthest away from our target tiebreaking time in the tag team tussle. Each of the four men guessed legitimate times and each were with five mins of target, 22:20. Therefore, the man furthest from that figure, at five minutes and 55 seconds over target, you new Outside Interference POS Champion,

Matty

Finally, the big one. The Outside Interference World Championship. Our champion, Bi$h, showed up and showed out. With so much chaos going on at the bottom of the ladder, Bi$h maintained distance, but not as much as some others. For the winner of this contest, it's out with the old, and with the older. Squeaking by two points ahead, with 10 points, and new Outside Interference World Champion,

SWR
