AEWxNJPW Forbidden Door Results

Halfway through the year already, and All Elite Wrestling's collaboration with New Japan Pro Wrestling is in the books. The third AEW pay per view of the year stayed true to long form and managed to over deliver on several midcard matches with varying effect as we went into the stretch of the evening. Reactions were mixed here at Outside Interference, but the average fan should feel good about the event's happening in spite of several situational roadblocks keeping some talents off the card for reasons spanning injury to rival Mexican promotions having partnerships with either company. One might hope for a second installment with better execution, but until then, it would seem the door is oiled enough. It may not surprise to see more NJPW stars making trips across Atlantic, (yeah, the long way, like how Goldberg eats corn.) With that said, let's get to our prediction results for the Outside Interference Trios Tag Team Championship!

First off, however, as has become tradition, a change of trophy for the losingest trio is at hand. The Singaporean Bootleg Holographic Pokemon Card Sticker Trophy was shared by Booker D, Reliever, and a dubious Teebird account. Teams were shaken up by the many requests for randomized partners, so this team did not remain intact. Who, however, finds themselves at the bottom of the trios ladder? And what will our lovable losers receive for their troubles? May the TSA Confiscated Loot Crate Trophy of many assorted liquids goes to,

Petey the Panda, I Have Grit, Wesley

Now for what you've been waiting for, the Outside Interference Trios Tag Team Championship! Reigning champions Cuz, Nice Guy, and Damien Demento have maintained a tight grip on the trios titles throughout the whole year, and Cuz and Nice Guy before the latter. An impressive feat, no doubt, one they look to make a stranglehold, however four trios stood in the way of this lofty goal. Let there be no doubt, there is a force in this trios division: teamwork. The only team to organize themselves this go around, and still your Outside Interference Trios Tag Team Champions,

Cuzzy, Nice Guy, and Damien Demento

Cuz, Nice Guy, Demento--------------------- 13+13+10= 36
DiP, Bass, Reliever------------------------------ 10+11+11= 32
GG®, Alamino KHANSINO, SWR-------  7+13+9 = 28
Booker D, Malk, DBL--------------------------- 10+7+8 = 25
Petey the Panda, I Have Grit, Wesley-  7+10+12= 19
